ON THE BLOCK
So what can we get for Sage Rosenfels?
The Vikings are not going to expose Joe Webb to waivers and Brad Childress has never wavered in his support for Tarvaris Jackson, so Rosenfels has got to be on the block.
Rosenfels has certainly got value the only question is if teams with needs a quarterback are going to be willing to wait for the Vikings to cut him rather than trying to work a trade.
Either way, given that it is clear Rosenfels’ days as a Viking are numbered, we don’t have much leverage and as a result, will be lucky to get a sixth round pick for him.
Some potential suitors:
Oakland, Tampa Bay, Arizona, Saint Louis, and possibly Chicago, New York Giants, Seattle and Washington.
The number of cuts the Vikings need to make by Tuesday, when they need to trim their roster to 75.
Why are people referring to Chris Cook‘s length?? Shouldn’t it be his height? We don’t say he’s six foot two inches long, do we?
SCREW THE SAINTS
“It’s real personal. Basically, I dislike the Saints. I dislike losing and I live there. So I dislike everything about Louisiana.” —Pat Williams.
