Minnesota Vikings Chat Podcast – Episode 1
In this inaugural episode of the Minnesota Vikings Chat podcast, David, Rick and Adrian discuss the Vikings free agency moves to date, including the blockbuster trade of Percy Harvin [Percy Harvin highlights] to the Seattle Seahawks for draft picks, the signing of former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel, as well as the Vikings re-signing of their own free agents, particularly tackle Phil Loadholt & fullback Jerome Felton.
And, of course, we discuss the release of veteran cornerback Antoine Winfield.
The Vikings also re-signed safety Jamarca Sanford, wide receiver Jerome Simpson, linebacker Erin Henderson, and offensive lineman Joe Berger. They re-negotiated the contract of last year’s big free agent signee, tight end John Carlson and have yet to re-sign wide receiver Devin Aromashodu and linebacker Marvin Mitchell.
Middle linebacker Jasper Brinkley signed with the Arizona Cardinals and offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Oh, yeah, and Rick’s dog Sammy makes a cameo appearance!
