Throwback Thursday

The last game the Minnesota Vikings made fewer than 10 pass attempts was on November 27, 1977, in a 13-6 victory over the Green Bay Packers during which QB Bob Lee went 5 for 8 on a snowy afternoon.

One of those five completions was a 40 yard score to WR Sammy White. Running Back Chuck Foreman gained 101 yards on 26 carries. Backfield mate Brent McClanahan added another 43 yards on 15 carries.

Packers History website has a nice recap and here’s the Pro Football Reference box score.
