Vikings owner Ziggy Wilf has been visiting Winter Park to take the temperature of his team and visiting with individual players as well, including Brett Favre, Pat Williams and Steve Hutchinson, according to Star Tribune‘s Judd Zulgad.

If that doesn’t tell Brad Childress his team needs to win Sunday, I don’t know what does.

The Arizona Cardinals’ defense is 31st in the league overall, 21st against the pass and 29th against the run.

You know what that means: Adrian Peterson, All Day.

The Cardinals know that, too, so that also means Peterson will likely face eight or nine in the box all day as well unless the Vikings can make them pay for it with deep shots to Rand…oh, yeah. To Bernard….oh, yeah. To Hank….oh, yeah.

Nevermind.

The Vikings players have still got to have motivation for themselves even if they have no confidence left in their coach. But if they don’t pull this game out, it’s entirely likely they’ll give up like the team gave up on Dennis Green during his 2001 losing season.
