With the 5th pick of the sixth round (170th overall) of the 2011 NFL draft, the Vikings chose South Florida free safety Mistral Raymond. The pick came from the Cleveland Browns draft-day trade. Raymond stands six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. He runs a 4.56 forty yard dash and has recorded a 32.5 inch vertical jump. Raymond played 11 of 12 games at corner last season for South Florida, so he looks to compete for a nickleback position but will probably get a look at safety, as well.
