With the 33rd pick of the fourth round (128th overall), the Vikings added another tight end to the roster with USC’s Rhett Ellison.

Tight ends are on the rise in the NFL and the Vikings and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave is clearly buying into the trend. He gives the Vikings the flexibility to put him at tight end or as an H-back.

Ellison stands 6’5″ and weighs 251 lbs with 32 3/4″ arms and 10 1/4″ hands. He runs a 4.88 forty and has a 31.5″ vertical.
