When my buddy Rick and I went through the Vikings 2019 schedule during one of the team’s training camp practices, we both arrived at a 9-7 mark. Not very optimistic but probably good enough for a Wild Card spot.
But after watching the season-opener between the Packers and the Bears (both offences looked pathetic) and after seeing the Vikings trounce the Falcons, I’ve revised my outlook. Now I think 11-5 is possible.
Here’s my breakdown of the 2019 schedule. (And I promise I did originally have the Vikes beating Atlanta.)
|9/15||@ Packers||Win||21-16 (L)|
|9/29||@ Bears||Win||16-6 (L)|
|10/6||@ Giants||Win||28-10 (W)|
|10/20||@ Lions||Win||42-30 (w)|
|11/3||@ Chiefs||Loss||26-23 (L)|
|11/10||@ Cowboys||Loss||28-24 (W)|
|12/2||@ Seahawks||Loss||37-30 (L)|
|12/15||@ Chargers||Loss||39-10 (W)|
